COOPERATIVE LEARNING WITH TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) MODEL

Mathematics as subject that supply the student to has ability thinks reasonable, analytical, systematic, critical and creative with can to cooperate with friend coeval it. mathematics teaches calculation, measurement, determine a value that applicable in life a days.in other matter methematics assumed a large part student is lesson that boring, difficult, frightened and or many terms other negative valuable. student considers that mathematics many contain formulas and complex calculation so that has made students think negative about mathematics.
Cooperative learning model the goals to increase accomplishment achievement students,  and also consequence another positive consequence that can develop connection deliver group, acceptance towards weak classmate in the field of academic,  and increase selfrespect taste(Robert E. Slavin , 2008: 5). With cooperative learning in the field of student mathematics can to discuse with friend coeval it, can compare notes about brainchild that be taken in a group. In  cooperative learning model can to unburden student fear in the case of mathematics usually learn individually be in a group, so that can motivating students to be team solid and can develop connection between student from ethnic background  difference.
Cooperative learning gives team work, because team work can stimulate student thinking in the field of same content , likes following:
1.         Develop skills student trouble shooting.
2.         To help student realizes inclinations and causality in social studies.
3.         Train how design experiments science. 
4.         Give feedback towards notes is written ( David A. Jacobsen , 2009 :234).
Cooperative learning ambulatory well and can be applicated for all class kind, in class entire has special marked students, for class that has flat intelligence  flat and class that has heterogeneous ability with various level the student ability. Thereby cooperatif learning  has various difference in all matter but formed to be a group. Student that belong to has high academic accomplishment in that group gives guidance in friend coeval it that still not yet understand, student not yet will understand has out for spirit can like with friend coeval it.
In cooperatif learning found applicated practise from principles cooperative learning and many model that found(Robert E. Slavin , 2008: 9). model that be discussed in this working paper one of them TAI model. In a word TAI model one of the pattern for interacted between student and teacher insides class that concern strategy, approach, model and study technique that applied in school activity execution at class. with this model is student supposed can to unfold the opinion without felt to encumberred. This model uses system groups heterogeneous where there stage high, medium,low in academic accomplishment. All obligatory group members responsibles to group.

A.  Cooperative learning with TAI model
Cooperative learning is a study model that give top priority existence groups. every existing student in has ability level that varies (high , medium , and low) and if make possible group member come from race, culture, tribe different with pay attention equivalence jender. Cooperative study model gives cooperation in finish troubleshoot to apply erudition and know how in order to achieve study aim ( Nur,2000).
In this case cooperative learning with TAI model  be model that can make students work in tim cooperative learning team and bear responsibility manageds and investigate routinely, result learns in individual brought  to group for discussed and mutual discussed in group member and group member responsibles on overall answer, student mutual help one another in faced problem,  and reciprocate push to progress, so teacher can free their self and give direct instruction to a group homogeneous student that comes from teams heterogeneous (Robert E. Slavin , 2008: 189).
Individual instruction usually is done difficult to finish problems that make individual instruction model becoming not effective. So that type cooperative learning TAI model  many made alternative study at every education unit. Type TAI combine cooperative learning with individual study, meanwhile TAI designed special to teach mathematics to class student 3 – 6 ( or student in higher class not yet ready get complete algebra matter). In TAI, students enter anindividualized sequenceaccordingtoa math placement test and then proceed at their ownlearningrates.Ingeneral, team members work ondifferent units. Teammates checkeach othersworkagainstanswer sheetsand help oneanotherwith any problems. Final unittests aretaken withoutteammate help andarescored bystudent monitors. Each week, teachers total thenumberof units completed byallteam members andgive certificates orother teamrewards to teams that exceed acriterion scorebased on the number of final testspassed, with extrapoints forperfect papers and completed homework.
In method cooperative learning TAI model designed to satisfy criteria follows to finish theoretical problems and practise and individual instruction system:
a.       Can minimize teacher involvement in investigation and routine management.
b.      Teacher at least will spend half and the time to teach little groups.
c.       Program operational in such a way the simple so that students at class three to on can do it.
d.      Students will motivat to will study matters that given swiftly and accurate,  and will not make dishonest or find short cut.
e.       Actually many mastery verification manners so that students seldom spend time has studied to return matter that they have mastered or face serious difficulty that wants teacher aid. in every mastery verification post, can available alternative instruction activities and parallel tests.
f.       Students can do verification one another, even if when does student that check the ability in under student mencek in instruction series,  and verification procedure simple enough and doesn't disturb the checker.
g.      Easy the program is studied either by also student, cost effective, flexible,  and doesn't want addition teacher and or team teacher.
h.      With make students works in cooperative groups, with status in a line, this program will build condition to shape positive attitudes towards defect students academicly and between students and race background or ethnic different (Robert E. Slavin , 2008: 190).
From various explanation on can detect that in type cooperative learning TAI model every student supposed wilier can to be assistant or guide (tutor coeval) individually for the friend less realize a matter, so that in group formed a comprehension equal to ability level same towards matter that studied. So that can be said that learning type cooperative TAI model merging between learn according to cooperative and individually. Study model TAI can increase manner think critical, creative,  and grow high social taste. Also trained to how to cooperate in a body student, trained to be good listener, can give explanation to friend a group, discuse, push friend other to cooperate, appreciate friend opinion other and as it. So that clever student can develop ability and the know how while weak student be helped in will realize troubleshoot that finished in group.

a.       Teacher will prepare ingredient matter will teach that be finished by student group.
b.      Teacher gives pre-test to every student or see average student daily value so that teacher detects student weakness in certain area. (adopted component placement test)
c.       Teacher has given matter in a word as according to curriculum that determined.(adopted component teaching group)
d.      Teacher forms little group heterogeneous but harmonic based on student daily repetition value, every group 4 - 5 students with ability vary good level ability (high, medium , low) if may be group member comes from race, culture, different tribe with equivalence jender. (adopted component teams)
e.       Every students has done task from teacher shaped LKS that designed self previous,  and teacher gives aid according to individually for that need it and in group discussion, every group member mutual investigate friend answer one group. (adopteds component team study)
f.       Chairman group reports the group success with presented the work result and ready for given repetition by teacher. (adopted component student creative)
g.      Teacher gives post test to done individually. (adopted component fact test)
h.      Teacher decides best group until group less success if there based on correction result. (adopted component team score and team recognition)
i.        Teacher gives formative test as according to competence that is determined by teacher (Robert E. Slavin , 2008: 195).
With attention steps that determined so that can doing TAI model harmoniously as according to norm that determine thereby model cooperative learning TAI bothing that fall into oblivion in decided steps matter by true.
C.     Strength and weakness Cooperative Learning TAI Model
Cooperative learning uses TAI model  has strength and weakness the weakness as according to process moment study and result towards student concerned. This matter has also in type cooperative learning TAI model . Follow strength and weakness type learning cooperative TAI model :
1.    Strength
a.       Increase result learns in every individual difficulty so that can communicate with friend coeval it.
b.      Increase motivation has learns in a group that formed by teacher.
c.       Decrease behaviour that disturb and conflict deliver individual so that can happen study kondusif in every individual.
d.      This program can help weak students from the academic that experience difficulty in realize matter learns. Student that experience difficulty learns can spurred the spirit with form a group learns.
e.       Learn TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) model help to increase entrant trouble-shooting ability educates and decrease opinion many entrants educates that that mathematics is difficult.
f.       In type cooperative learning TAI (Team Assisted Individualization ) model entrant educates to get appreciation on their effort.
g.      Train entrant educates to work according to group, train harmony in life with on the basis of mutual appreciate.

2.      Weakness
a.       Not all subject fits taught with type cooperative study model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI).
b.      When does this study methods learning be known, possibility amount of entrant educates confused, a part lose self confidence taste and a part disturb to deliver entrant educates other.

b.     Type cooperative learning TAI model be study method that form little group heterogeneous with manner background thinks different to mutual help towards student other that want aid.
c.      Steps  in cooperative study with TAI model should payed as according to systematics that made so that easy carried out.
d.     Cooperative learning with TAI model has strength and weakness because all model bothing that perfect and as according to class conditon according to existing fact is welded.
B.     Suggestion
Best we can run cooperative learning with TAI model as good as may be and detect steps systematic so that TAI model this can maximise result that got by student.
